Body Packaging

Our bodies are supposed to be correctly and adequately packaged. When you package something, you wrap it. Packaging is to present (someone or something) in an attractive or advantageous way. When you package yourself, you should be attractive in a positive way.

When I look at ladies’ dressing these days, I marvel. Sometimes stunned by the level of decadence. You’ll see ladies wearing very long skirts that are almost sweeping the floors behind them with slits reaching almost up to the pant-line; long sleeve jackets with ridiculously low plunging necklines to reveal some or all of the cleavage; scandalously tight skirts and trousers; transparent full tops and some even design some holes into their blouses to show some nakedness, . . . Hmmmmm.

We say we are in a free world so we do what we like and dress as we like. Well, a child of God is not free to do just anything. Many men commit sin in their hearts because of these ungodly indecent dressing. The Bible says not to be a stumbling block to the weak or partake in another man’s sin (1Cor. 8:8-9; 1Tim. 5:22; Rom. 14:20-21). Let’s check ourselves. It’s true that some men are just sick. Even when you’re totally covered up, they still have evil ideas stuck up in their minds. We must not fuel the fire of lust in the hearts of men. Let the Holy Spirit check your dressing and certify it ok before you go out.

What’s your motive for sewing that style of cloth or buying that design of cloth? You don’t have to open up all your body to look good. You can cover up properly and still be attractive. Modesty and neatness is what’s required. Dressing semi nude will fetch you many stares from men and probably lots of boyfriends but being decently dressed will get you a husband who’d cherish and respect you! And please, could you stop posting nude and semi-nude photos on social media? When you dress half-naked, I really don’t know what signal you are sending. Negative, I guess.

Let the clothes serve their purpose!
