MAXIMISING TIME

Two men I met during my late teenage years left an indelible mark on my life. Both men were Pastors in the Nigerian Baptist Convention ( Revd Tayo Orodiji and Revd Goke Adeleke). These two men were sold out to God. They were really passionate about ministering to youths and they were all over the place recovering souls to the Kingdom of God.

The ZEAL of these men was contagious. They lived their lives like their time was almost up… As if they knew they didn’t have much time on their hands. Hmmmm

Both men died on the same day in a ghastly motor accident over twelve years ago.

Revd Orodiji in particular wrote several books that are still very relevant in the youth ministry today; permit me to say even more relevant now than then. He wrote a lot about relationships and issues pertaining to sexual purity.

Their works live on long after they have gone away from here.

I have been challenged too much in life to live my life without caution. This is one major reason I just keep doing things that I am called to do with all zeal. Yes, I keep dishing them out as they come because I know time COULD be short after all and I am not ready to take chances.

I made a resolution a long time ago, that keeps me pursuing purpose with every sense of determination… I must die empty.

Are you still nonchalant about your life and the fulfilment of your purpose?

Has God inspired you to do something and you have been procrastinating?

I am calling out to you today.

If you miss out on the opportunity to live life to the fullest today, you will never get another ‘today’ when you decide to wake up from your slumber (and that’s if it’s not too late by then).

This is not to scare you with the issue of death… Not at all.

This is simply a reminder that you do not know if you will be here on this side of eternity ‘tomorrow’.

Today is the surest opportunity you can lay claim of.

Maximise TODAY …

Take action towards fulfillment of purpose.

… So that you can hear your Creator say to you, “Well done, good and faithful servant; enter into your Master’s rest”
