I remember a discussion I once had with someone after I had ended a chat with someone else. This person cautioned me about giving out valuable information like I had just done to the other person. She said I had to be careful about how I just pour out all of me without holding anything back into others. This person told me how I had to be wary of competition or betrayal.
I gladly told her that I would not be fulfilling my purpose if I decided to hide what people needed to become their best and was in my custody; because I have been fashioned to be a helper. Besides, I am ME and no one else can be ME no matter what.
My idea of life is that whatever you have been given must be regarded as a privileged treasure. Why then hoard it when it could have been the other person that could have been in the privileged position anyway?
We are comforted so that we can comfort others.
What gifts have you been given by your Maker? What treasures lie within you?
They are there for a reason… To impact people around you so that they too can become “Treasure – Carriers”.
There is no need to be scared of competition because you are unique still.
… And you have your own space.
The Yoruba adage, “the skies are wide enough for all birds to fly come to mind at this point.
Yes, there is a place for you and every other person on this planet.
Help them fly!
… It won’t stop you from flying too.
You can actually put the information the people who need what you have inside you in written form. Writing is an excellent way to preserve information.
