Smiles, she has come again with her titles right (lol). It’s not too far fetched, as I intend sharing with you one of my rainy day’s experience. π
So it happened on this graceful day with the dark clouds all set in place in the sky. Having being expectant of the rain for some hours; after the earlier drizzling. The rain started with a heavy downpour which was accompanied by a strong wind. This lady was so glad it finally rained because of the accompanying breeze which was a blessing for the heated past days.

So I quickly dashed out to drop something off at the second flat and returned in. When I got back, I pulled off the outdoor slippers I had on and because of the rain splash, my feet was still wet. So all in a bid to not stain the floor, I planned to tiptoe in, to where I will dry my feet and wear my slip on. But I guess my exploring side had a heads on first and I used my heels instead. God!, I had only taken a few steps forward and I was already tired; without making much progress. Thankfully, I was able to locate a rag nearby and I told myself “Mi o le was” (meaning: why should I continue punishing myself π) and I switched to my toes afterward, which was a lot easier and faster. And yeah, I got to where my indoor slip-on was and wore it. Finally right! Sighs.π
Thinking about the whole experience, all that it brought to mind is Unity. As my curious self still got to the room and kept on pondering why it was difficult using my heels despite the wholesome size it has, π while the toes despite its smaller member size; as they are in digits had so much grace and was able to aid me faster to my bearing. That was when the word Unity popped up, as I kept staring and switching from my toes to my heels. π

As simple as that seems, it just explains why the place of relationships are needed and never to be put aside. Even the Bible says one (1) will chase a thousand and two (2) ten thousand. That doesn’t seem sane mathematically but that is the truth. Also, Ecclesiastes states:
Two are better than one because they have a more satisfying return for their labor; for if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and does not have another to lift him up. And though one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
ECCLESIASTES 4:9β-β¬10β, β¬12 (AMP)
Definitely, as we have read, we can see that the place of “relationship” can never be overemphasized. We can’t afford to deal life alone yeah, even though we might have been dealt some blows (disappointed, ignored or cast off/aside) by some of our past relationships; still relationships are needed. Which is why we need to engage the Holy Spirit within us, to bring our way, the right, and Godly people.

Always remember, the power of association can never be undermined.
I read somewhere also, “Your greatest assets in life are the association you keep”. Yes, if you happen to have warriors as your close pals, I’m sure you will sleep with your eyes closed. That is because you trust their competence right?. So also the association we keep has a long way in making us or otherwise. So as much as this is encouraging us to not isolate ourselves, it is also expedient we have the right set of people as pals or company.

And be intentional about the relationships you keep. π
Toodles! π₯
Do have a relationship refreshing weekend. π
