Don’t Stop!

The story of Isaac in Genesis 26 is a story that challenges me in a marvellous way. It is a story of persistence. He was faced with all sorts of challenges. His efforts were being frustrated. He however was not frustrated. His enemies did all they could to make sure He did not achieve his aim. They kept pulling trouble with him.

They pushed and pulled him but he did not reach a breaking point. He had this quality that resembled that of a good elastic material. He always returned to status quo. He was always back to pursue his goal. He had a vision. His eyes were stuck on the prize. He was going to dig a well that belonged to him no matter what. He refused to be distracted. He did not give up. He was struck down but he wasn’t destroyed. He braced up and moves on to take over new grounds.

In persistence lies your strength. You must keep pushing. The harder you push, the weaker the obstacle in your way becomes.

I am here to encourage you today to hold on to your God-given dreams. Don’t you give up now. You’ve come too far to do that. God has not brought you this far to leave you stranded. Build up your most holy faith.
Don’t give up trying.
Don’t give up on that marriage.
Don’t give up on that child.
Don’t give up on that business.
Don’t stop! Don’t quit! Don’t give up!

Tell yourself,
“I am going to birth a life baby. I don’t care how many times this pregnancy has been tampered with.
I am a survivor.
I am an overcomer.
I will fulfill destiny.
I am not giving up.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Like David was told here’s the message for you today:
Pursue!
Overtake!
Recover all!

Go and win with Jesus!
