Made Right By Faith

Becoming a member of the body of Christ is simply made possible through faith. I have not seen God in the physical form but I believe that He is God and that I am saved by His Son. Did I see Jesus die and rise again with my naked eyes? No. But I believe that He died for my sins and is alive.

The Bible makes us understand that we cannot please God without faith. We see the unseen God in the seen creation of His hands. God is written all over everything and everyone. You just need to open your eyes and heart to the awesomeness of who God is. Refusal to acknowledge His existence puts Him off. We must believe that He is and is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

By faith, we see the world called into existence by God’s word, what we see created by what we don’t see.
(Hebrews 11:3 MSG)

The seen comes from the unseen. The world we see came from nothing. God creates new things out of nothing.

To follow God, you must have faith. For God to be pleased with us, we must believe in Him and all that He is. No one has an excuse to not know God because through everything God made, we can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature.

This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”
(Romans 1:17 NLT)

We live by faith and not by sight. It is faith in God that qualifies for righteousness.

For the Scriptures tell us, “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.”
(Romans 4:3 NLT)

We are not made righteous by our works. Our righteousness is like filthy rags. It counts for nothing. We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and no one else. Our righteousness is found in God and there is just one criterion for this righteousness to be imputed into us- FAITH.

Have faith in God dear brethren!

  1. Feedback-
God bless you Lola. Thank you for this admonition on "Made Right by Faith" I had the opportunity to witness to my colleague at work, after the words, he responded and said "Kemi you sound so convincing, if only I can experience all these amazing things you said the Lord can do, I will give my life to the Lord after the experience" I told him that the Lord wants us to give our lives to him by faith first just like a child beliefs his parents without doubts. The words of God says. "It is by grace you have been saved through faith" Eph. 2:8. "Whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it" Matt 16 25" "seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you" Matt 6:33

  2. Amen! God bless you too ma. Thank God for the gift of the Holy Spirit. Just like the Eutopian Eunuch who was reading the Scriptures but couldn't understand a thing written therein until The Holy Spirit Himself interpreted the words to Him through Philip. The arm of flesh will fail. There is nothing we can do without The Holy Spirit. May God help us to continually depend on Him.
