MONEY IS GOOD

Hey, money gives you options! Don’t let anyone fool you. Poverty doesn’t make you a saint or a hero of heaven. It makes you miserable, self-centered, a sufferer and self-preoccupied.

The more you operate in abundant living, the more you become more likely to be free, more useful, other-minded and a grateful vessel for His Kingdom. It allows you to provide relief for flood, earthquake & hurricane survivors & others.

Got a witness?

Folks who have the mentality of poverty and insist it is righteous to be poor don’t honour God’s Kingdom. Jesus said it is better to give than to receive, right?

How then can you help someone else when you always need a handout and a hand up? You definitely cannot give what you do not have. Silver and gold belong to our Father. Honour God by not loving money for it is the root of all evils. Money itself isn’t evil.

Money itself is a good tool in the hands of men. However, what you do with the money determines whether the money turns bad or not in your hands. You can use the money you possess for good or bad and that is what qualifies ‘your own’ money.

It is not a sin to be rich or to desire to be rich as long as you keep in perspective the purpose of money.

Check out what you should use the money in your custody for in the Scriptural verse below 👇

Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others. By doing this they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the future so that they may experience true life. (1Timothy 6 vs 17-19)

The rich should partner with God to take care of the needy. It is indeed an honourable and highly rewarding thing to be found relevant in using the resources that God releases in form of silver and gold to carry out God’s business.

Oh, the joys of those who are kind to the poor! The LORD rescues them when they are in trouble. (Psalm 41 vs 1)

God wants you to prosper in all aspects of your life; your finances inclusive.

Here’s my two-cent: If and when God blesses you with riches, always see money as a servant and never allow it become your master.

. . . That’s the key to having a healthy relationship with money and making sure that it remains good in your hands.
