Let me briefly share my interesting experience with you folks. Lol. It was the end of the day’s work and the good part was, I had it in mind (since the previous week) to go for the midweek service holding that day. Good enough, we did finish earlier (though not too early -it was still some minutes late into the time the program would have started). I told my colleague that we do set out together, my intention of attending the said program. One thing led to another: from greeting the celebrant of the day at the branch, to my colleague using the ATM and finally to me having her take my picture. It made the timing later than expected, that i eventually changed my mind on going for it. After doing some calculations of getting a motorbike, getting there and then not having quality time to spend in Church. Deep within me, i still yearned to go for the evening service but I dissuaded it and good enough (at least that was what I thought) we got one of the long buses park right in front of us. The good part was we hadn’t even waited a minute as we were still jesting on something i said, that we got the bus.

We decided to get on board and in my mind, i thought that since it was empty we could go for it (because we usually never board it). Yeah, we got to pay half the price but geez!, we paid for the other half in so many ways words can’t express. Lol.
From the journey of 20-25 minutes which turned out to an hour, to lots of noise from other on-boarders, to the push and all when others boarded the bus. God knows we vowed never to try such again. 😪
The sad part and the cap to the whole experience was, i ended up spending the exact time i would have spent at the church on the road which barely seemed as though there was no movement at all. 😫😭

So my dear, to keep it short as i believe the story has communicated the core message. It is needful to keep “the priority” as priority and above all don’t displace your devotion and service to God for any other thing.
It might seem you’ve gone scot free, but it costs a lot more than one could think of.

– What have you placed as a priority in your life so far aside God and His dealings?.
– What have you allowed take a 1st place in your life instead of God and His will?.
Its definitely never too late to right the wrong and review your decisions henceforth.
God knows I learnt! (in a hard way I must say). Lol. But above all I trust Him to help me (to help us all) through the process of choosing Him first always, regardless of what else seems sane or right or logical.

I choose to choose Him first. What about you?. 🙌

Do have a pleasant week folks. 👊💞
I celebrate God in you. Toodles! 💟
